Walker Gordon Farm is a single family home community quietly nestled in Plainsboro Township on the site of the former Walker Gordon Dairy Farm (see History page). Plainsboro Township has successfully made the transition from a rural farming community to a vibrant, diverse community of 21,000 people. The Township's careful planning has resulted in a seamless balance of open space and development, with over 50% of the Township permanently preserved as open space; including sections of Walker Gordon Farm.

The West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District, consistently ranked as one of the best in the State of New Jersey has a proven track record with many of the students going on to college, and maintaining one of the highest SAT scores in NJ.
Plainsboro has varied opportunities that mark the area as a desirable home for a wide range of lifestyles. The Township hosts historical buildings and landmarks, preserving its rural charm while still remaining a center for major corporate office and research facilities, including Merrill Lynch, Bristol-Myers Squibb, American Re-Insurance, Princeton University Plasma Research Physics Lab, FMC, Firmenich, GE Communications and Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals. The New Jersey Transit and Amtrak station in Princeton Junction is about 2-3 miles away, making commuting easy.
The original settlement in the Township, Plainsboro Village, contains buildings dating from the 18th Century and is benefiting from controlled growth guided by the Plainsboro Village Area Master Plan. The Plan calls for the preservation of the Village's historic character while introducing appropriate and attractive commercial and residential development to help the Village become the center of community life.
